Pasquale “Pat” Massaro
Pat was born in Airola, Italy in 1927 and moved to Western New York with his family when he was 12. He proudly served his country during the Korean War as a Private First Class in the United States Army and was stationed in Schweinfurt, Germany from 1950-1954.
In 1962, Pat and his wife, Ruth, relocated to Clarence with their three children and ran several thriving businesses together, including Massaro Cleaners, Clarence Car Wash, and Warp One Sub/Pizza Restaurant. Pat was honored to be recognized as a life member of the Clarence Fire Company and was a cherished member of the community. He had a variety of hobbies, such as gardening, playing euchre with his closest friends, and golfing. Pat lived in Clarence until his passing in 1987.
